Frequently Asked Questions

How far can a gas line run to a patio heater or fire table?

There is no fixed maximum. The limit is pressure drop across the run, so we size the pipe against total BTU load and distance. Runs of 100 ft or more are routine when the line is sized correctly.

Can a fire table be permanently piped instead of using a propane tank?

Yes. A permanent natural gas feed removes the hidden tank and the refill routine. We pipe to the burner, install a shutoff and pressure-test the system.

Do outdoor fireplaces and heaters need a permit?

They must be installed by a TSSA-certified gas fitter, and permits or utility notification apply on many jobs. We handle it and leave a signed gas tag.

Can you add a heater line to an existing BBQ line?

Often yes, if the existing pipe is sized for the extra load. If it isn't, we upsize the run so both appliances can operate at full output at once.
