What's Included

How much does it cost to install a gas stove in Ontario?
If you need a new gas line run to the kitchen, expect about $450 to $1,000+ installed, depending on how far the kitchen is from the gas supply and whether walls or ceilings are finished. If the line is already there and you're just connecting a new range, it's often only our $150 service call plus fittings.
Can I switch from an electric stove to gas?
Yes, if your home has natural gas service. We run a new line to the kitchen, install a shut-off valve and connect the range. You'll also want to unplug or cap the old 240V outlet.
Can I hook up a gas stove myself?
No. In Ontario, connecting a gas appliance must be done by a licensed gas fitter. The connection is leak-tested and tagged.
Does the store's delivery crew connect the gas?
Usually not. Many appliance delivery crews won't connect gas — you'll need a licensed gas fitter to make the connection.
